Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Good thing we have our fair share of medical personell around here
That being said, still alive (somehow), the cold has almost passend though instead having an almost constant overpressure in your right ear isn't exactly comfortable.
Enough complaining, here's what I've been up to lately:
Still waiting for the filler to dry on the jack and rear light and still missing a small strip of Zimmerit on the vertical front plate, but otherwise I'm basically done here

Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Thanks Dr Matthews, feeling much better now
The Stug would have been finished days ago if it weren't for the Zimmerit...or the cold. Pick your favourite
I can't mention it often enough, the Milliput method is both simple and quick once you have the basics figured out...

Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Finally done here and ready for paint!
I'll leave the skirts off, the 1 inch scale thickness of the plates would be a bit much even for a retro build
I forgot to mention, I added a bit of cast texture on the gun mantlet with the old "glue and brush" method.

*Echo!* Beautiful work on the Zimmerit! *Echo!*
Seriously: the Zimmerit makes it way better than most of the 70s kits could be expected - looking forwards to the paint job !
Best regards

Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Thanks Raoul! The same (minus Zimmerit) is true for your Panzer IV, maybe these old things aren't so horrible after all?
