Got to agree wih the others, once the weathering layers kick in that will tone down and soften quite nicely.
I'm a serial kit starter....

I agree that washes and pigments will make it look a little less colourful in the end.
Since I'll be on vacation from the 18th until the 28th I need to get this one done this week if I want to finish in time...

Made a start on the detail painting, still a little rough in some places:
There will be some mud around the running gear (though not nearly as much as on my last Tamiya Stug IV) so there's really no point in doing it all nice and proper.
I most likely won't be able to finish this until the deadline thanks to said vacation unless we extend it a little. But we wouldn't do that, would we?
