Re: The 70's Retro Group Build!
I think we should at least put a tank silhoutte behind it
I also hereby declare this as this campaign's leitmotif

Made a start on the Harrier, rough is not the word. Not sure yet if it will fly straight in the bin No wonder Airfix went bust I should have picked Tamiya like everyone else

Unlikely Steve, rushing at the moment whilst I have time. Off to Aus for a course on Thursday this week and all work stops then!
Also run into a road block trying to solder up a brush guard for the loaders periscope, and wasting a lot of time scratch building most of the .50cal.

Re: The 70's Retro Group Build!
Okay, this is officially driving me batty. I have been through my stash numerous times looking for something that qualifies and while I do have some stuff from the time period, it is for larger future projects or it is for projects where I want to do a lot of detailing. I bid on a Tamiya Sdkfz 250/9 last night on ebay but didn't get it. There are a couple of things I am keeping my eye on that end this evening though, so, fingers crossed.
