Thanks Ian and Shawn!
As I said: in 1:1 scale the sights look just fine, it's the magnification that makes me (unnecessarily probably) miffed with the results
Best regards

Wow, Raoul those seats are great. For me I would say the modulation could be even more pronounced. It looks good now and I know that when I've done it in the past any filters and washes almost completely take away the effect. Of course that could have been me being heavy handed.
As far as the improvised camo goes, I suggest a heavy coating of dust. You can do some great patterns with dust given it swirls around and settles everywhere. Then the crew climbing in and out would wipe some of it off. Could be very interesting on the eye.
Good stuff so far.

Thanks Rob and Vincent!
I'm a bit surprised that everybody seems to really like the seats - they are just the most basic of Verlinden-esque methods: brown base and a vaguely light brownish dry-brushing .
Don't misunderstand this, I'm really happy it generates this response .
On the subject of the camo I tend to favour this kind of improvised camo, though I'm still undecided =>
(Thanks to Philipp for finding the picture)

Raoul
Love the seats too well done
You are doing the Daliesque camo on the rear of the 251?
It will be stunning

Eh... alright... If the photo bucket doesn't want ..screw them .
Aaaaaaaaanyway: I've painted the 251 in a profoundly and assuredly psychedelic pattern... "Have you found the yellow sign? HAVE YOU FOUND THE YELLOW SIGN?!" See Robert W. Chambers' "The King in Yellow Collection" I also started on the figures, first in line: "The Relaxers" ( ) . I trimmed away most of their gear since I rather doubt they'd have it complete with webbing while essentially serving as chauffeurs for the artillery (obviously far from finished )=>
Best regards

Love the 60's psychedelic paint, Raoul
Good to see figures being scribed to Raoul
Reminds me of my 2015 project
I know they are not finished yet, and they are making good progress.
Taking off the webbing is always a labour of love, don't forget to take off the plastic burr
Looking good
