This is a stunning project Shawn, your attention to detail on all of the ingredients shows some real dedication.

It may have driven you a little insane but the camo smocks are the puppies undercarriage.

Thanks alot Vlad.

Well 4 months later and I finally decided to start working on this again. Over the last few day I have been doing some figure painting. Still have to paint hands and boots. The boots will not be painted until I am ready to mount the figures to the base.

My goal is to finish this by the end of the year. I have to at least get one project done in 2016.

Superb work on the camo Shawn

Cut to the chase, what did you use a base colour?

I have a Fallschirmjager project on the bench, but am struggling with the base colour for the camo

Hope you don't mind sharing :?:

Great work again Shawn, I don't think I will get as good a finish, the rain drop overlay is spot on too.

Your figures are beautiful as ever! :D I really like your style - somehow it reminds me of impressionist paintings....

Philipp, Adam, Vincent and Steve- thanks for the encouraging and kind comments guys.

Steve- Base color for the camo was Vallejo 821.

One very important step that I do is I add the smallest amount (like just enough to cover the point on my paint brush) of Tamiya flat base to the Vallejo paints. It flatten down the paint so you do not have to apply a dull coat.

All credit goes to Andy Evans for the uniform colors. Here are a couple of links.

ON page two it list the uniform colors and equipment colors. :D

I didn't see the figures until just now. Did you use any washes or are the dark areas shadowed with individual brush strokes?
