What washes, really. Nope individual brush strokes and a lot of them. . I tend to use about 3-4 different shades of shadow colors and 4-5 highlight shades for everything I paint. Maybe this is why I get very little accomplished and things take so long.John Everett wrote:I didn't see the figures until just now. Did you use any washes or are the dark areas shadowed with individual brush strokes?
Thanks for checking n John, Vincent, Philipp.

Hi Shawn,
This one got under my radar!
Absolutely outstanding modeling. The Kettenkrad looks terrific and your figures and very very nice!
Your figure painting has improved in leaps and bounds, and is really excellent. I am thinking these will be your best yet?
Very nice base to build your diorama on too!

Thanks Woody.
Well the figures are done and hopefully the rest of the build will be done soon.
Photos are alittle dark. Sorry.

Great stuff, but I'm not saying anything new here
The dark photos certainly give it a distinctive atmosphere....a ruined town in eastern France on a moonless night, hurried preparations before the first light and the battle it will bring...

Thanks for checking in Philipp, Chris, Steve, and Yngve
Some of you who have know me for awhile may want to sit down for this one.
I actually finished a build and I have a month to spare. I have not completed a build since the beginning of 2015!!!!!
Here are a few pic, the rest will be sent to Gary for the Gallery.
As always thanks for following along over the last 11 months.
