I'm going to follow this one closely Roy. You've chosen a terrific combination there. :)

The Bofors is a wonderful little kit. Like most of Bronco, it goes together slowly, one tiny little piece at a time. But It's enjoyable and creates a nice piece if you decide to use the PE parts. My one complaint is that Bronco seems to want all of their offerings to work and move just like the real thing. Doing it their way creates a model which does not want to stay together when handled.

I'm more curious about the Bedford. I've only done the Italeri Bedford and it was....it was........Well. It was and Italeri.

ive checked all the reviews on the qlb and there pretty much thumbs up
a pal of mine has built the gun with all the brass and it all works ,yes its very fragile. you only need to burp at it and it tries to deconstruct its self

im going to pose the gun so it will not fall apart weather at ready or stowed and hooked up to the truck in transport,the latter being more favorable for me then i do not need to go down the route of making up and painting pesky figures
{ yes everone has a nemesis and figures are mine}

I've built IBGs Bedford QLD, nice overall, the sprue gates can be a bit big and I really don't like the CAD style instructions but it builds nice enough. like the look of this version.

Roy,

one of my favourite subjects!
Always wanted to do a conversion with an old Italeri kit to a QLB.
Think I'll just leave that on the shelf and get me an IBG one....

looking forward to what you can do with this.
