US M1 57mm or 6 Pounder

This is the picture and story I will attempt to reproduce. My father was in the 120th Infantry Regiment and in this battle but not certain he was on Hill 317.

This is the model I will use which I still need to purchase.

These are the infantry I will try to make fit that I already have as the 6 pounder doesn't come with any figures! I will just do the best I can.

Looks like you have everything you need for a stunning scene. The setting alone would make for a great diorama, but your personal connection makes it really special :)

Fret not I have started both the figures and the 57mm. The figures are glued and primed. The 57mm has a small amount done but it has lots of parts so a long way to go. I have a base selected but nothing done for the dio yet. I just don't have my camera set up yet for pictures but will before I get too far in the build so you can see how it is coming. Pam
