Ok, I'm calling the Jeep finished...........at least until I do something else with it.
I've given it a dust over, added pigments and the final bits and pieces. The glass for the windshield turned out nice but, unlike everything else in the kit, it didn't fit very well. Of course I could have found this out early on, like when the instructions called out to fit the glass for instance.
I've decided to live with it. ;) Anyway, here are the final paint pics.

I still have to add some appropriate storage. In the meantime, I had better get back to the Limber and AT Gun and give them the treatment too ;)

Thanks for following along.

Seriously great jeep Vincent

When the gun and limber get the same treatment, it will be a cracking build :D

Any figures, for scale?

Very nice work, Vincent :D

Man Vincent that is really looking great. I have been wanting to pick up some of those oil paints but I have not.

Thanks Steve. :) I'm undecided about whether to include figures at this stage.

Cheers,

Thanks Shawn. :) If you get a chance you should get some. They are easy to use, apply smoothly and are very forgiving if you make a mistake. I know, I made many

Thanks Rob, I'm happy with how it turned out too. ;) I agree, the oils are amazing and they sure make a difference to the result :D

The oils are done. Both the Limber and the AT Gun have had the oil treatment. :D The Limbers small size makes blending difficult and patience is a virtue ;)
The AT Gun first

The painting is over. :) There is stowage I can add at some stage but basically this one is done. I'll get around to a base and some figures(?) later on I think. At that point I will probably do a little more weathering just to tie the vehicles into the base. The tyres could have some dirt in their tread for example but other than that it's done for now. :D
Unfortunately this combination is so long that getting decent pics is quite difficult. ;)
