Thanks Chris :)

Hasn't it gone quiet  :?

Did some more painting :D

10mm scale figures, British 37th Foot, 1777, protecting the colonies
And the first of my castings are out :D :D breastwork defences for many many periods!

Right on with the blog :D

Oi Bronco NO!

This is probably one of their worst construction concepts

Image

The horozontal brass strips are suspended between the sides and the central uprights!! relying purely on spring tension and a little CA glue :( really Bronco???? Anyhow with a little patience I managed to get them all in, not 100% straight but in none the less!

After that construction was a breeze, if somewhat fine and fiddly :D

Next up, shell trays, 8 parts per tray, 16 trays, plus the shells, 16 pairs  see you in a while!

I would have glued that ammo locker shut without a second thought

But the end result looks very impressive!

Nice figures too! :)

I would have told myself that as well but when the time came I'm sure I would have had to build it as well.

You know shawn, I felt just the same way :D

Right after getting my new venture up and running, I thought it was time for me time! this involved chucking paint at the limber etc so that received an undercoat and a liberal application of SSC2. Then started the detail painting. The rear crew compartment had a little chipping applied, then the seats fitted and a slurry of dust washed into the floor, the same for the drivers compartment, looks mucky and well used :) when all of that dried the cab was finally mated to the rear and the doors fixed in place, finally we are nearly there.

I forgot to mention I sourced some value gear stuff from the spares box, this will get painted up and lodged nicely on the roof.

And the gun has received a fair amount of detail work, predominantly on that gun sight!

Very impressive indeed. I like the color.

You have to love the Value gear stowage. So very useful and not overly expensive.
