AFV CLub 6 Pounder

Post by Chris Smith »

I started this with the intention of blogging it from the begining but I got kind of frustrated and wasn't even sure if I'd finish it at one stage. However I grit my teeth and now it's almost ready for paint.

The wheels still need some etch fitting to them to finish them up but I was using them as a handhold during construction of the carriage as there was pretty much nowhere else to hold it without breaking something.

I also have Broncos Airbourne 6 pounder sat half started in a box which I might pick up again and see if I can get both finished off.

Very nice Chris, the hard work paid off! looks excellent!

Is the brass barrel part of the kit or an AM?

What I'd like is a gun crew looking like they are trying to get some rest after having been in action in a gun pit littered with empty casings and containers. I've not seen any that fit the bill so far.

That would be very nice. Too bad Allied gun crew sets are still extremely rare...
