Re: AFV CLub 6 Pounder
Chris, what was wrong with the kit? I was thinking of getting one.

Steve,
It was mainly getting the trunnions and cradle together and the gun pointing straight. Lost count how many tries it took. Otherwise there were some quite heavy mould seams which given it is a new kit was disappointing.

Chris- I hate to hear this was a frustrating build, but you did a great job with it.

Damn it's been a long time since this was updated. In my quest to finish some things off so I can start something new I put a base coat of Rob Matthews vallejo SCC15 mix on and painted the details.
Apologies for the phone pics but I didn't have time for anything else.

Not as long as me, as far as the update. Looks good from here.

Here are some photos taken with the camera.
Not really sure how to go about weathering this as I haven't really got an idea of how I want to display it. It might just be a pin wash to bring out the details for now.

Nice little build Chris! Maybe just keep the weathering the highlighting the details as you said with a pin wash and dust up the wheels a bit?
Nice photo Philipp posted with a simple setting.
