Re: 12 Ponder Canon ACW
Hi
Shawn Thanks I'm happy with the way they are now I've cleaned the excess glue off them.
Raoul I remember playing that game was fun. Still looking for some figure's.
Philipp It would have made my life easier if they were cast in 2-3 pieces.
Vlad The end results very nice but just very awkward getting there. Artillery train that would be fun.
As for the build I did some over the weekend but now I need to consult my photo's for the fittings as the Verlinden drawings aren't very helpful.
So Main carriage is on the Axle.
The Barrel has had the end glued on & filled
The Ammo trailer is a neat assembly.
All these parts will need a bit of glue clean up.
Next thing is all the fixings that hang from the carriage & Ammo trailer.

Some fine detail there Shaun. I loved the wheel, this is really turning into something novel.

Hi
Sorry not been on for a while.
Thought I'd updated this with the completed build photo's prior to painting but seemed to have forgotten.
Over the weekend I base coated & then sealed this yesterday.
I have also managed to find some figure's which I'll use eventually for a diorama.

Welcome back Shaun!
I have to join Pille here in mentioning that the gun looks veeeery impressive!
Certainly something different but looking at this there should be more pre-1914 pieces!
Best regards

Hi
Still busy with this build , Cant take any pic's at the moment my lens has packed up
I've given the whole thing a wash & now a Matt coat & have found a suitable crew ( have started painting these as well).

Hi
New camera lens arrived Friday So took a few test shots to check it out.
Here's some of the figure's I will be using in a diorama involving the Cannon.
They are from Des Resin plus 1 odd figure from Cromwell models, using 7 in total.
They still need a matt coat & some dirtying up a little .
