My grandfather was driving a truck back to his unit when a battery of these opened up, needless to say his pants were a little more khaki and he put the truck in the drainage ditch  he said it was the most breathtaking noise!

Nice Steve. I really like the way you did the brake lines. They look just right. :)

I haven't had much chance to get some bench time, but I did manage to squeeze in a few hours today.

I've done some weathering to the M4, using MIG and Dr Bens pigments for some built up mud. I gave the lower section a raw umber wash for some wet mud. Then I oversprayed the entire tractor with some heavily thinned Dark Earth for a dusty look.

Moving on to the Long Tom, I'm done with painting and an overall dark umber wash. I've added a bit of stowage to the trail arms. I'm working off a picture of an M4 towing a Long Tom over a pontoon bridge. THe tractor had minimal stowage on it as the crew appears to have put most of their gear on the gun carriage.

I'm going to add a tarp for the muzzle and breech. Then add some more stowage, weather and hitch it up to the tractor.

Thanks for looking.

Looking good, Steve :D

The M4 is super, looks like your best work to date ;)

The Long Tom hitched should be a stunning scenario 8-)

Very nice one :D
