Your coming along Vincent with the build. I have yet started mine.
3D printing will be very welcome once the prices come down. I am so looking forward to the day I don't have to re-scribe figures to improve upon the detail.

It could end up in the bin if the build doesn't improve

I just read an interesting account - in the early 50s a Belgian smuggler used an M3 with fake Allied markings to smuggle coffee into Germany - several tons per trip. German border police weren't allowed to check Allied vehicles, but when they did find out it resulted in a wild chase during which the armour and offroad capacity of the M3 proved quite useful...
I haven't found a photo of this particular vehicle yet, but when I do it might have consequences
Philipp
That's a great story Philipp and I can see you turning it into a great diorama.

Yes, you're right Shawn. They are expensive at the moment, but the future is clear to see.

A little update. After a struggle I put the bonnet on and gave it some primer.

A shot of the dash. Not the best picture but never mind.

First, an explanation.
This kit has fought with me right from the start but when I got to the paint stage I thought I was fine.
Well, I have attempted to paint the Scout car three times so far and each and every one of them have been dismal failures.
After the last attempt I stripped off the paint and put it away.
Fast forward to today. I'm waiting for some tracks to turn up for the Panther so I thought I'd give the Scout Car one more try.
For a change, things went pretty smoothly and before I knew it, I had this...........

Oh, if you are confused about the paint scheme, it should make sense once I have the base done.
I have a lot to do yet but I think I may actually get this finished...........sssshh.....you didn't hear that from me
I'm pretty happy right now
Cheers,
Vincent
