I'm glad to hear that Mark. :) I'm looking forward to getting into this one.

I've finally started construction. :) First thing I noticed was that some parts are best painted before assembly. The engine, tyres, transmission, and 4 wheel drive train could all benefit from detail painting before going into their respective positions. Naturally, nothing will be seen unless you leave the bonnet up so the choice is up to you. I didn't do any of that.
So far everything has gone smoothly except for the front axle assembly which can easily get out of alignment unless you are careful.
This is where I'm up to.

There is so much detail underneath it's a shame it won't be seen.

I'm having fun. :D

Thanks Shawn. Start it anyway. Somehow I seem to have ended up with all these builds going on at once :? It's a mystery to me

Thanks Rob. Don't get left behind, after all you only have 11 months and 19 days to go! I've progressed a little bit further on this one so I should post some more pics. ;)

"up your pace ..." ????
Really.... compare your builds from the last two years to mine.....
I should start..... not up my pace!
hahaha...

looking forward to updates Vincent.

Currently on the workbench.... nothing: still to build a workbench.
On the shelf-of-shame... nothing: everything's still in boxes.

Thanks Frerik, glad you like it. :) I'm really enjoying this one and just because you asked, here is an update ;)

I thought I should give the chassis a coat of paint as it looks like it will be difficult to get at everything later in the build.

I finally managed to do a bit more on the Scout Car. I thought I would get a fair bit done over this weekend but alas it was not to be.
I did get the body together after a lot of work.

Very Nice - and I am still wanting one of these. Sadly it's going to have to wait with the Build list mounting.

Keep it coming Vincent :P
