Humber MkIV

Post by Mark Aldrich »

This is mine. Have decided this will be tactical build (I love the stowage set to much). Going to add a Commander Figure and probably markings for Southern Command.

Looks good Mark. I'll follow this one closely. The stowage looks very nice indeed. :)

Shawn,
Only doing one. Figures still scare me and that is also why the IDF M1 76mm build is still sitting on the bench. I have the Commander figure 95% done and the Loader about 50% done. Of course, getting hooked on Fallout4 has not helped the situation either.

I would like to say put down Fallout, but that would make me hypocritical  but you need to start the Humber so I can see the pitfalls

Dedicating some bench time today. Have a Leman Russ that had a TERRIBLE (that is being nice) gap in it that I superglued. I am hoping it held. Plus the two Sherman figures to get that finished up.

Vlad,
If you are building one, pay close attention to the springs assembly. I chopped off both locating tabs because they looked like part of the sprue gate. I think it will still be ok. They make them moveable (probably because the frame has so many pieces and that might be their way of ensuring the wheels all touch the ground). The downside is the front mounts were broken as I attempted to fit the fronts in place.
