Re: Daimler Dingo Mk Ia
I'm always a little paranoid since there is so much that can go wrong with decals, from silvering to outright destruction thanks to clumsy sausage fingers, agressive softener or just bad quality.....
I'm not really experienced when it comes to weathering desert vehicles, but I guess a little brown wash couldn't harm:
In any case the main step will be a generous layer of bright dust. But first some flat clear coat once it's dry.

Methinks I'm done here:
But of course I just have to make my life more complicated and add a vignette
More on that soon!

Thank you Steve
It'll just be a piece of dune with the Dingo stuck in the sand, and this fellow observing the scene:
"Now that's not the Elephant I shot....?!"

Looking forward to see what you do with this figure.
Just curious How many projects do you have going on right now. I lost track.

Re: Daimler Dingo Mk Ia
Thanks guys
The Great White Hunter will just stand there, gazing at his catch...or at least what he thinks is his catch. As a member of rural Prussian nobility with an uncle who served in the colonial troops a war earlier he of course set out to Africa to find honour and glory and trophies for the fireplace
Projects? Oh well......uhm......
The Dingo, the Valentine, the BA-10, sometimes the sinking KV-2 turret....oh and the Whippet I just bought, which is completely OOTB and will have some photos posted once it's done
