Wow Raoul

your figure painting is quick :o and looks good too ;)

Decals and hair and they will be in the post ;)

I am looking forward to seeing them all attached :D

Its been an odd week, 8-4 shifts, completely overwhelming with all the storm/flood claims, I work in home insurance, if you didn't all know

And the week has ended with my sinuses playing hell

But tomorrow, in the UK, only, I believe, is Father's day, so a day off to do what I want, so heads and Pz II all day 8-)

Still, quick work on all those figures Raoul, makes me feel very rather slow

Great work all round

Thanks Steve! :D

I second the notion!

Father's day has been on May 5th here - though, as usual and always and every bloody time, it's essentially youths who are (...hopefully that is) not yetfathers and ,given their level of public alcohol consumption, will probably, if we're lucky, not reach breeding age...

I'm sorry, I tend be fairly misanthropic on such occasions - just don't take my statements too serious ;) .

And damn the sinuses!
Is it occasionally or chronic? Because chronic diseases really pull you down - not that other options would be welcome... I know you know

Oh and you're not slow... you're just perfectly normal - it's me who's weird  .

Phew...back from the heat induced - crashed computer - communicating with the tablet - annoyance!

As I thing I have mentioned here before: Steve Hutchinson painted a couple of heads for me as a trade for a couple of camo decals.
I hope the photos give them proper justice, but they are magnificent! See for yourself=>

(Steve is currently painting a couple of heads to sell on e-bay, that's the reason he was a "head-paint-production-line" currently ;) )

And of course some had to be used immediately! =>

(The MG-34 gunner still has a little long neck on this photo, it has already been corrected, no worries ;) )

Looking good Raoul

Long necks are always a challenge, I thinned them quite a lot, it may need some further trimming/shortening?

Final scenario shots soon?

Back to the Thoma shields, after Chasing Harvey round the garden, he escaped!

Better photos too, a more realistic colour tone, my photos always seem too dark/red?

More soon?

Are you using acrylics or oils Steve?

AFAIK it's "just" acrylics.

All right: progress time!
I finished "my" two heads on the crouched figures at the corner, they're MAIM heads which turned out to be... very meh... they're obviously 3D printed which makes them.. well.. "insufficiently deep"... they're definitely better than Legend but equally definitely not equal to Hornet and only a couple of bucks cheaper... so sadly not worth it. =>

And that's how it currently looks =>

Love it Raoul :D

It is the sort of busy scenario I am striving to achieve, One day

It really does all fit together nicely, and an action packed one too ;)

I certainly avoid action figures at the moment A La Vinnie, and try to scribe and paint more casual figures

Looking forward to the Full Photo shoot of this one Raoul :D

I'll catch up tonight too

Thanks Steve! :D
I'm really happy with most of the action poses - in their original form there is a slight over-representation of automatic weapons and I had to fiddle the good old k98k into many hands (still in production after roughly 120years mind you and regarded by many as the apex of the bolt action rifle, with the possible contender of the SMLE straight pull rifle) but all in all they're good poses, lots of crouching and moving swiftly with heads down. :D
Nothing is so annoying as encountering WW2 poses which would be well placed in a Napoleonic setting ;)

I like it Raoul. A busy scene that draws you in and there is a lot to look at. :)
Nicely done.

Now we've reached the phase of "the small things".
Since I've yet to select a cat I've started with bricks. Since it's a broken brick wall there's bound to be bricks laying around... and I have just the solution: Juweela RF ("Reichsformat", the norm for German bricks between 1850 and 1950 ;) ) in a couple of slightly different tones. =>

I'll tone them down a little to better acclimatize with the rest of the dio, but so far I'm pretty happy with them ;) .
