Right, done. Still working on the figure but he's on the back burner at the moment as my painting efforts have made him look like he has a dropped pie for a face :D

Pics of the finished product on the way to Gary this weekend, then I can add another medal to my collection!

In between other projects this one got forgotten. All done, pics are a bit crap as I'm still trying to get the photography side of this hobby sorted. I'll submit some pics to Gary for the Gallery but in the meantime this will have to suffice :D

I think its a lighting thing, it I use daylight LEDs directly on the subject it looks washed out, if I diffuse them by using a light box the subject looks "yellow/sepia". Any suggestions would be welcome!!

Wonderful result Adam. :) Sorry I can't help with any camera advice, I'm strictly a hope for the best type of guy when it comes to taking photos

Wonderful Finish Adam

Unfortunately its not a skill set of mine either, photography

Still not found a really good system or forum yet, Model Armour Photography

Though it doesn't matter, you can the quality finish shine through :D

Looking forward to your GB work Adam following on from the T55

Very nice :D

Beautifully done Adam! :D

Your photos are actually quite good. Everything is in focus, the colour balance isn't off and it doesn't look grainy either.

As for the photo setup, the most simple way would be two desk lamps and a piece of cardboard as background, preferrably white, grey or black. The lamps should ideally have low energy lightbulbs with a cold white colour since classic bulbs are both very hot and have a very yellow light, which can be difficult to correct on the photos.

What camera do you use?

Got a Canon EOS. Bought a photographic "tent" to help diffuse the light that came with a couple of LED "daylight" lamps.

I'm going to have a bit more of a fiddle and see what I can come up with!

I think you're all set then :)

The only improvement would be a large piece of cardboard as a neutral background, with the lights illuminating the model from both sides.

I'll give it a shot. Get the feeling I'm overthinking the problem, but that's the surgeon in me!
