Re: Panzer III based vehicles
Thanks guys. I know is isn't heavily weathered and I need to attempt to make my wooden handles more wooden. I have a couple techniques I am going to try on the Humber build.

Those handles look fine to me. If you think about how long the wood would be outside exposed to the elements during WW2 and then shipped to a harsh hot climate and exposed even more, then the handles are going to suffer a bit and go grey!

Gary,
Here is the odd part. Many people commented on the "lack of grain". Not seeing a lot of grain on this handle. It is there but just visible.

Nobody should complain about lack of grain if you hold that under their noses

Re: Panzer III based vehicles
I wish I had known about this GB sooner. There are some excellent builds going on here. I'm pretty fixated on the PzIII/StuGIII. Here's one I worked on in the posted time frame.
Additional images can be found here: StuGIII Ausf G
I read mention of a soldering how to PDF using paste and a torch. Can someone provide the link?

Yeah, I saw one of your threads. You got it bad.
If you go to my site, you'll see four others I finished in the last year or so. I've got four other stuggies planned.
