You guys do know you have 5 months to complete these builds not 5 days right :?: :?:
I know, I know... but it's just such a nice atmosphere with everyone building something similar - it's really motivating ;) .

Gary, I didn't realize you meant those ...err.. thingies...
I suppose they are a result of Dragon changing the hulls by moving the idlers (the StuG has different intervals than the regular ZW hull) around and this may be a leftover artifact of the idler mounts being cut out and moved? :?:

I'm with Shawn :o

I go away for a weeks holiday and I come back to an explosion of building
Nice one Team Panzer III 8-)

I've arrived too late for the guess comp and now I've seen the respective "owners" there were some surprises.

So here's me.

No real surprise - a late war vehicle though given it's age this would have been a real oddity in late 44-early 45. I've searched and cannot find any original pics. I strongly suspect that I'm soon going to owe Steve H a few beers ;)
When I get back to work (Ouch  ) there should be an etch set and Alpine figure to complement. I wont be using the Ostketten and the Schurzen are entirely idiosyncratic and will need scratching.

I'll then need to do some catching up

Great decision Rob! :D
The IIIN was not as rare as the dearth of photos may suggest, it just wasn't photographed as often as the more current ones - most of them went to the Panzergrenadier divisions as part of their armoured complement and as such where not nearly as present media wise as the vehicles of the Panzer divisions.

Gary, I'm not sure about the magic model building elves but cloning yourself to build two at once is just unfair :P

Thanks for that Raoul. That makes a lot of sense and might have some influence on crew uniform colour.
