Worked on the lower hull, trying to resample a light dry mud/dust cover like most vehicles with tracks seem to be covered in.

I used Vallejo pumice mixed with pigments and matt gloss, then several washes and pigment treatments to break up the colour. Will add a little more after the wheels and tracks have been fixed, maybe also some oil spills.

Getting closer to finish this one - still a lot of detail painting to take care of and also the figures.

Decals where a real pain. Not only the known Tamiya issues, but also this being a kit from 2002, they stuck pretty hard to the paper and didn't glue really well to the plastic. :?
