Re: VK 18.01 / Panzer I Ausf. F
Made a little progress on the first figure:
Not my best figure ever and not my best photo ever, but I hope it's sufficient for now
Still a few details left to paint...

Thanks
Forgot the cap insignia, but otherwise I'm done here:
(Apologies, the face is slightly out of focus. Again...)

Looking good Pille!
It's always a struggle to get a well painted face.. well for at least .
(Though I'm happy I wont have to do that on the Bandai 1:100 figures ...)
Best regards

Re: VK 18.01 / Panzer I Ausf. F
Thanks again everyone
He's got a silk shirt. For the workshop. Right.
Apologies for the lack of "real" progress. Have some small stuff instead:
And now we know why someone wrote "jammed" on the side hatch

I'll probably find a few minor things to fix, but in the meantime I'm calling this one finished:
"Now, where did you say is the gun?"
To be honest the figures are no masterpieces but it's the best I can do right now. Practice is everything....
If you notice something I should definitely fix, please let me know.

Looks good to me Philipp. It is kind of a weird looking beast. The turret seems too small for the rest of it. Or maybe the rest is too big for the turret?
Either way, like I said, it looks good and the addition of the chalk markings do a nice job of placing it in the correct context.

Thanks Matt!
Yep, it's one of the weirdest tanks of its time... and that's quite an achievement considering all the other stuff designed in Germany at the time

That turned out very nice indeed Philipp. Terrific little scene. It's a funny looking tank isn't it? It seems like way too much tank to carry just two machine guns.
