Re: VK 18.01 / Panzer I Ausf. F
Thanks Gary!
The 'Tiger cub' has received its oil bath:
Its not entirely dry yet. I'm plannung to do some experiments with other methods to add a little more character to it, but for the most part it's good as it is right now.

Re: VK 18.01 / Panzer I Ausf. F
The Panzer is completely, finally and permanently done*, time for the rest.
As the TV cooks say: I already got something prepared. I once made that base for my BT-7 but ended up making a bigger one. I want to keep things compact here:
MB's figures are as usual very well made with resin-like heads, but this time I had some heavy mould seams to clean up. Still not entirely done with filling the gaps and other stuff.
"Hey Fritz?"
"Yes Hans?"
"Where is the bloody gun?"
I added a few "chalk" markings (in that ancient horror called Kurrentschrift) to add the chassis number and point out a few flaws made by the assembly crew (= me). Yeah, I'm so very funny

I have to admit I'm in awe of your demonstrated capacity to read Kurrent. It and Sütterlin usually defeat me when encountered in corespondence .
In my defence: I can read Fraktur and some more structured handwriting!
Also: the Tiger kitten is nice what with the markings, figures and base !
Best regards

Thank you gents!
I hope to have it all done in a few days. Just shows how much I need external pressure to work at proper speed

Nice looking Pz I F, Philipp
and well thought out diorama too
Less is more
The figures look just right for your theme, are you changing heads or using the MiniArt ones?
Nice one

Thank you Steve! The figures are made by Master Box, not Miniart. Thankfully they have much better heads, so there is little reason to replace them.
