Trumpeter BRDM 2 (Early)

This is the third build I've started without finishing the other two but I should get everything done in time
This has been a joy so far, great fit, well thought out.
The filler on the upper hull sides is unused location points which needed to be closed up. There is a nice interior but even if I wasn't doing this closed up it would be very hard to see very much of it so I left it out. The belly wheels are assembled but I've left them off for the moment so I can paint them, I'm not sure that I could get in to paint them otherwise.

With no interior to worry about, it must have gone together quickly.

Well,
it is a fairly nice looking little (?) vehicle
Nice work so far Chris!
Might get one too - in the far future that is, got enough other things to do first

John,
I did toy with the idea of fitting the interior so you could see it with the turret removed but decided against to save time.
Rob,
finished it off this morning
Just not sure when I will get time to paint it, kids come back from their Grandparents tomorrow for the last three and a half weeks summer holidays.
Philipp,
not so little, same length and width as a M4A4. Get one, they are little gems.

Ready for painting
Missing are the clear lenses, headlight guards, tow cable and brackets and a reel with a rope on it which I'll add after the base coat is on so I can paint them seperately along with the belly wheels.

That was fast
Great work Chris! I suppose it helped that it's not quite as unbearingly hot up where you live compared to here?

Fast indeed. But not compromising build quality though. Nice work

The paint will look nice on that.
