Thanks Philipp, Vincent and Steve :)

The wheels arrived....

Image

They have very fine tread though the attachment points are disapointingly wide so that large areas of each wheel have filled-in tread.

Nice work Rob, particularly like the tilt.

Thanks to the German Postal workers being on strike I'm still waiting for my kit to arrive and yes it is all your fault :D

Thanks Fellas

Final details.

Image

Image

I take back all I said about the wheels - they turned out Nice

Image

Image

The rear tarp window is Krystal Klear. It Juuust stretched :?
The tarp had some very light oils applied to give some depth

I sprayed some very diluted Tamiya buff which is about the extent of the weathering

Image

Image

Image

And so final pics go to Gary for the Gallery

Here's the inspiration pic. I obviously didn't go for the radio boxes ;)

Image

And finally.....

Image

That's my second finished for the Group build - see if I cant get the BRDM done

Closedown - Summary

Revell Series 3 Landrover: The tarp needs some work and the wheel tread is poorly detailed but I was quite surprised how well this came out. Fit is good and surface detail very acceptable for such an old kit. Highly recommended.

Accurate Armour Resin Wheels: Are nicely moulded and really do set the model off.

Paint: Vallejo Model Air

Weathering: Tamiya Buff (well diluted and sprayed in very small layers. Mig Ammo Europe Earth to the wheels applied as a wet water slurry and then rubbed off with a cotton bud

Thanks for looking :)

Another superb piece of work Rob. I love the camo scheme and the base looks so realistic.

Well done.
