The E.T. Model set is Excellent ......
Order is restored
Though this build appears to be jinxed. I sent off for some DEF "weighted" resin wheels from Inside the Armour and of course heard nothing. It appears that they have had an IT failure and are effectively shut pro tem whilst they sort things out. I've emailed but heard nothing from Chris. DEF Model stuff is hard to come by

Rob, DEF is carried by Hobbyeasy.com out of Hong Kong and have a wide selection in stock, try there.

Rob,
I think Chris' email is still messed up, try contacting over Facebook.
Is that a resin barrel in the ET set?

Re: Trumpeter BRDM-2 NBC
Thanks Chris. ISA - chris Meddings dropped me the DEF wheels for the Dragon version which need minimal drilling to match the Trumpeter offering and are very splendid.Chris Smith wrote:Rob,

Re: Trumpeter BRDM-2 NBC
Minimal drilling but because of the flange around the axle hole - they sit too proud
The flange needs removing with either a short 15 blade or a chisel
So the lesson is - get the Trumpeter wheels for the Trumpeter kit
I opted to pain the interior though as Chris says - none will be visible - it's practice

Re: Trumpeter BRDM-2 NBC
Progress, progress, progress. I wish I new how that felt.
My son starts school Tuesday. Its going to be really hard on me because I am going to miss all that time we had together, but maybe now I can start building again.
Last year we had him in day care for a couple of months but pulled him out due to the cost. I actually got some stuff done then.
