Bronco Humber Mk IV

I thought I'd jump in the fray with Bronco's Humber Mk IV

I started this kit around 2 years ago and shelved it for some reason - can't remember why. So I decided to resurrect it for this group build and this is how far I’d gotten. The chassis and most of the lower hull interior is completed. Some of it painted.

I'll finish up the hull interior, then close it up.

Thanks for looking

Minor update. I finished the interior for the upper hull. I only assembled one of the ammo panels, for the right side, as the left side will not be visible at all even if the turret was removed.

Then did some detail painting in both upper and lower.

Next, I will close up the hull and do the fenders, etc. Thanks for looking.

I was planning on Commonwealth. I wasn't aware that the IDF used these.

The late models of the vehicle were used all over the world. You could choose any number of places. IDF or Commonwealth would be good. How about Sri Lanka!

Good choice Steve - nice to come back to something where you've already done a fair bit of work ;)

Don't see many of these built up - looking forward to this

Sri Lanka? Hmmmm.... I'll have to look up what other marking options are out there.

Thanks Rob.

Vinnie was building one on MA last year, but his was the Mk II if I recall. So far it's a good kit.

Upper and lower hull assemblies are attached and I've added some of the hull details.

And here are the fenders. I'll add them to the hull as soon as the glue cures.

Have I ever said I hate PE?
