They probably only drank German beer in Berlin, which is, together with Kölsch from Cologne, the absolute worst brew imaginable :P

@ Philipp - you're right about the Greyhound similarities - (kind of)

@ Olivier et al - the Heineken crate was a conceit - due to having nothing else - I reckon that friendly Dutch forces swapped rations ;) ;) ;) - I've got another MRE box that might appear

Assembly is complete and IMHO - a very fine kit it is too. Well done Trumpeter :)

I have no idea what purpose the rear metal guards serve (? RPG protection akin to slat armour??). It's tempting to place the bottom against the rear hull but original pics show that it "floats"

Greg - Thanks for the tip about the RB barrel. Here it is .......

I elected to use the kit part as that had bracket and carry handle moulded on and in truth is very nicely moulded.

Speedy progress by my standards - Paint next and it will be the "brown" scheme (Thank you once again Mr Smith ;) )

Thanks for looking

Seriously, I really like the concentrated battery of smoke launchers in the turret's back :) !

In fact the rear "bumpers" can be in contact with the hull.

What do you mean by brown scheme?

Thanks for the comments Fellas :D

Olivier - by Brown - I meant this paint job (vs the Sand Grey that I had originally thought of)

Primer with Mig Ammo

And free hand camo over a base of Mig Ammo Green Khaki Mig Ammo 056

My ONLY single criticism of Mig Ammo paints is that the label printing smudges and comes off :?

About 4 hrs spraying with multiple airbrush cleans to get to this, but I'm pleased with the result

i like the camo ..you done well there rob.always a challenge freehand and the more bits sticking out and facets the harder it is.... :D
this is a tip and not a criticism..hope you dont mind ;)
when i do free hand i paint as you have and then when im were you are now i go back in with the main colour which is green on this model and tighten up the over spray on the camo colours pointing the air brush into the green and pretty close up at a low pressure to tighten up the colours and make the edges more pronounced and the green uniformal..
tghis way you can keep the soft edge and loose all the overspray from the rest of the colours ..just takes a bit of patience and time,,,
