The stuff is called Modellwasser (3 guesses at what that means in English
). The bottle looks like this. It dries absolutely crystal clear, however since it loses a lot of volume you need several applications to get the desired thickness. It's almost gel-like when it comes out of the bottle, but it'll creep into the smallest of spaces and leave a perfectly smooth surface.
