Hello,
I finally made up my mind on this armored version of the French multipurpose car. It was developed for the operations in Bosnia if my memory serves. The softskin car offered no protection at all in a very hostile environment so it was decided to give some protection for the crews. A small amount of Peugeot P4 were converted by Panhard by adding an armor cabin to the original chassis. While the protection was really improved, at least against bullets and shell splinters, the mobility and the stability of the vehicle was altered to such an extend that many vehicles rolled over in rough terrain around Sarajevo.
Later, the vehicle was deployed in Afghanistan for CIMIC teams and Gendarmerie units.

I'll build the vehicle from the Revell Wolf base with the Blast Models conversion which is nicer than the Azimut one.

I've been a bit slow on this project but should speed up things this afternoon. Meanwhile, I show you the donor kits sprues and the conversion content.







From the donor kit, the chassis is fully used. The interior only keeps the dashboard and the main levers even the wheel is different.
Blast give you a sheet of clear plastic to do the windows. As you can see the instructions are no for newbies. My first step will be a thorough study of them to avoid a huge mistake.
No paint indications are given with the conversion so you'd better collect a lot of interior pictures prior to starting this kit. The last point is there is no decals as well. I will use some from my Leclerc sheet.

The cabin is not glued yet. I have to detail and paint the interior. Blast did the minimal with it. On the actual vehicle, the interior is very different from the German Wolf. I first removed the rear seats supports and started by adding a panel which closes the compartment at the rear. Then I will have to scratch the rear bench and the radio bracket. I guess this will take more time as I have no measurements and must work with my eyeball Mk1.

Excellent work getting the resin and plastic together! Was it a lot of work or is the fit just that good?

With all the angles it almost looks like a 1930's armoured car

Interesting subject, reminds me a bit of the Shorland armoured Landrover.

I started fixing the interior and the rear bench as it is noticeable from the windshield.

Philipp,
Blast resin parts need some cleaning as usual with resin but once it's done no need to worry about the fit.

Some progress. The interior is basic but very few will remain visible when the cabin is glued. Nothing is glued yet. The seats are black so they will be painted apart. I still need to scratch a radio support on the left hand side.
