:o

I don't know. The cart looks gorgeous as it is right now. I love the multi-tones in the various planks and components. Sure you really want to go all grey? It looks pretty damned good right now.

Hi John

Yes she is OK, but she needs to be distressed to suit the scenario.
I have another one which could be a "posh" wagon next time ;)
So to bring everything up to date, the heads for the 12 participants, they seem a bit pale but its early days yet
Image
The bodies, still need to do some work on these
Image
I have altered one of the walkers to a teenager stature
Image
not forgetting the 2 horse power ""engine""
Image
So a long bank holiday ahead, lets see how it goes ;)

More soon

Your heads look great, the rest really can't go wrong :D .

Also.... the selection of body parts with the decorative birds looks kind of...unsettling...psychopomps of the dead probably, only in miniature, so they are cute little songbirds instead of scary ravens  .

You are burning the midnight oil, Raoul ;)
Your 251's are looking really good, :D

I am going to slightly deepen the skin tone, a little for the heads, the 2 in the centre are the Russian, Siberian guards,
so I am still researching a good palette for their skin tone, everything from red leather to dark sand :?

I have done the eyes, which for me is the crux of a head, if the eyes don't look right, I never get to the next stage :(

One thing I have learned is how best to remove the pop eyed look, with a dark curve over the top lid, with anything from 822 dark camo to the darkest of your shade mix.

The decorative pot has 2 blue tits on a tree trunk, which is my storage for all my work stuff, when I get in, all my work"" slave"" stuff, ID badge, keys, and pocket debris, £1 coins, watch, Medic alert, etc go into it, so I am temporarily free for the night.
Ready to be re manacled every morning, except for the weekends :D

I will, hopefully, find the head painting "sweet spot" this weekend, and have some progress to post
Tomorrow is forecast for rain all through the AM, so I am preparing for a good solid painting session tomorrow morning.

I have been sanding, filing & scribing the 2 horses at work in my breaks, so I may be getting closer to getting those started soon too

More to come?

I think I need to get me some of that primer. Looks like it goes on really nice.

All those figures would just make me sick knowing I had that many to do.

It is excellent Shawn, and that was the 1200

I have ordered 2 cans of the 1500, which should be even finer, though they are all good.

I have a can of the red oxide 1000, somewhere on the ocean from China too

Mr Rinaldi was absolutely right, about Mr Surfacer, primer in a can, superb stuff :D

Though it can not be shipped by air, sadly, ships take much longer to arrive, so I am stocking up
