Too many projects on the go at once means I end up getting nothing done on any of them :?

Finally put together a base for the Stolly, unfortunately the grass looks as convincing as one of Donald Trumps wigs so I think I will pull it back off and try again.

I wasn't happy with the grass so reworked it.

Just seen on the photo that the edges of some the grass need gluing down again :? but otherwise this is finished.

The base is coming along Chris. Just take some static grass and apply it around those edges and it will take care of hiding them.

Now I know where Rob got the grass for his Landy dio :D

Talking of Rob, time for a build round up

Firing Lines Stalwart Mk 2 It has been around the block, a lot. It retails at 83pounds which seems expensive for what you get. Accurate Armours retails for 100 but is a relatively new kit, Firing Lines is much older. The kit I used came from someones stash so the cost to me was a fraction of the new price but I think given the 17pounds difference I would go for the AA kit. The suspension is tricky and there are no templates or materials supplied for the glazing but otherwise a pretty straight forward build.

Paint Vallejo Model Air Cam Dark green for base and Lifecolour Black for the disruptive. Weathered using Lifecolor Mud Paint and pigment set.

Base 5mm Plastic card for the base and sides with flower display foam for the earth, not very easy to work with as it crumbles very easily. Hardened up using diluted white glue. Grass is from Heki and base painted in Tamiya flat earth with overspray from Lifecolor mud set to tie it in to the vehicle.
