Looks 1/35 to me. The only clue would be the size of the sprue channels compared to the size of the parts.

Logical construction continues - fit is very good

The tilt needs a bit of TLC but without too much bother comes together and fits snugly to the body. Some whittling and sanding is needed ...

And with a hop, skip and a jump we get to this - and Yes I agree with others - that the tread is a little overdone. I suspect we'll see some resin offerings in the future

The wheels are cleverly designed that they can be positioned in a variety of "turned" positions

A first for me - a build that has taken less than 24 hrs  :ugeek:

The scheme will be RAF Blue grey (whatever colour that really is :? :geek: )

Thanks for looking

I say this over and over but never practice what I preach. I need a simple out of the build. PE is driving me up a wall.

Shawn - it really is nice to have something trivial on the go. This has just sat in the background and when I've got bored with the BTR I pick this up.

Image

Luftwaffe Grey blue 4 : London Grey 1

Image

I initially sprayed the tarp Mig Ammo Khaki - then deciding it was too dark - remembered that I have Lifecolor paints - their major advantage being that they dry really Flat

I sprayed "Worn Out Hemp" - parfait!

And then a couple of spare hours today rapidly gets you to this

Image

I opted for clear light lenses unlike the war time Blackout ones suggested. This will be a post war vehicle in Llanbedr late 50s. It didn't look right so the solution was to carefully paint around each lens.

And that's it - finished. To feature soon in a little dio with the Fairey Firefly U.8

Close down.

Airfix 1/48 Bedford MWD - Fabulous kit - unreserved recommendation. Perfect fit and multiple options. The Aircraft modellers have a little gem here. Thorough congratulations to Airfix who continue their long overdue resurrection. You could seriously build and pain this in a day :D :P

Paints - Vallejo and Lifecolor hemp for the tarp

Pigments - Mig Ammo European Earth - mixed with water to "slurry paint" the tyres - excess being removed with a dampened cotton bud

Looks almost 'cute' doesn't it

Very nice work indeed Rob. I see that ITA have released a PE update set for this model - an excuse for you to build another? ;)

Great job Rob! :D (and it rhymes! )

It really doesn't look like it's a 1/48th scale kit, If it hadn't the descriptor in the title and the example of the MA bottles I would have sworn it's a 35th scale kit  .

Best regards
