Thanks a lot guys.

Rob- I think this is the original release of this kit. Got it at a show that was part of someone stash. $20.00 or $25.00 I cant remember now. Either way a good price. By Philipps comments in his blog if they are re-releasing them they are taking out a bunch of the extras.

Gary- Build one. I would like to the all the PE thrown into one.

Not much of an update but some anyways. The interior is finished and primer applied using Mig Ammo black primer. Should be able to get some paint on it tomorrow.

Does anyone have pics of the radio from this thing. I want to know where the headphone would have plugged into them.

Thanks for the link Gary.

I finally got the interior painted. I just brush painted the dials. They won't be seen much anyways.

I need to do alittle touch up. I have read several times that if you use acrylic paint you really don't need to seal it with a satin coat to apply enamel washes. Well that is not true.

Damn :!:

The white spirit in the enamel will lift the acrylic - been there - done that

Looking great - love the wood effect on the seats

Your interior is just stunning Shawn! :D
I was just to lazy (shame on me  ) to completely detail a section that would be pretty much invisible in my builds, but looking at yours I'm starting to rue that  .

Best regards

Well I sprayed a coat of Vallejo Satin mixed with water to thin it enough to spray through the airbrush and waited 24 hrs. I reapplied the filters and damn it the paint lifted again. I have never had this problem before. The only difference this time around is I think(could be wrong) that this is the first time I have used the Ammo paints. But I have used the AK paints many times with no problem.

So I threw away the bottle of satin and got out another bottle to see if it makes a difference. I really hope so because I could always use Klear but that is way to glossy for me and I don't like to Matt down my models after I finish weathering them, because it seems to take away a lot of the weathering effects.

That's puzzling Shawn. I've used the Satin before but I usually thin it with the Vallejo Thinner rather than water. Perhaps it needs more coats? :?
