Look who's back...

Yep, it really took me two months to assemble the first track run. And then about 30 minutes to do the second.

Things should proceed slightly faster now.

Good to see you back on this one Philipp. I'm guessing two months would be some kind of record for track assembly...

I wasn't even distracted by something else... In fact I barely did any modelling whatsoever during that time :?

They are rather splendid - aren't they :)

Always very satisfying to finish :P

Hey! That's much more work than I'll ever do for a set of tracks. But they're nice to look at nonetheless.

Thanks for dropping by gents! I had to make the tracks first in order to properly align the suspension, otherwise I might have been slightly faster... More actual progress hopefully later today (once I'm no longer stuck on a commuter train to oblivion...).

Yeah, the tracks are half a link short, but with one more it'll be way too much. I'll have to glue the tracks down onto the wheels once I'm finished with everything else, thankfully they are flexible enough for that.

For reference, here's the 251/7 from Munster, compared to the model the idler sits much higher....? :?

Finally managed to get the lower half pieced together. Not a pleasant experience.

I didn't bother much with the interior since it will be filled up with ammo, stowage and figures anyway.

If I ever get that far, that is. Judging from a fit test I made with the upper hull, the real fun is yet to come...
