Bronco Humber Mk.IV and issues

Well, most of you have already read my stance on a fellow members Mk.IV build but I was actually looking because I have issues. The first was I now know I got hosed by PanzerArt. I bought a set of the resin wheels back when I bought the kit and did not realize until a few days ago, they sent me a set of Bedford wheels with Humber inserts. Was also trying to ascertain if the drivers armored visor was multi positionable or only open and closed?

Vinnie built this back on the old site, I can't remember him having any issues beyond needing a good plan when it came to painting. Not much help I know.

No worries! The kit wheels don't look too bad and I can always use them and the average person would not even notice the difference.

Hi Mark - those wheels look very similar to some I've just got for the Otter. Try emailing Panzerart - they are good guys - they've come back to me with info previously.
I suspect that they'll sort you out.
I'm a little jealous as I was eyeing the Humber up and might still join you ;)

I'm pleased it's not just me that plans months in advance
Looking forward

Rob,
Thanks for that. I know I did not order them from PanzerArt so I always worry about..."We need a receipt". I can email them and see what pans out. You should do the Humber. It looks like a really nice kit. As previously stated, mine will not have any interior...except what I think it needs for assembly. Some of the interior parts seem to be needed to attach exterior parts. First notice are the front shocks. Mine will be finished as either a IDF decorated parade vehicle (at least 4 blue Star of Davids) or a combat vehicle so I can use the gorgeous BlackDog stowage set and add a AA MG34!

Yup - I like the sound of the MG34 - always cool to see those on IDF jeeps. An IDF Humber is novel 8-)

Which leaves me to do the Wessex Divison colours ;)
I'll check out he Black Dog set

*cough* *cough*

There may be another on the block ;)

The tyre profiles in the kit are correct, so why change them? unless the IDF use a different profile????

Vlad,
I am almost positive I bought the Kit, tires and stowage at a show. I had no idea that the tires were plastic. I assumed they were rubber. The kit tires look fine and as long as they assemble well, I will probably end up using them. Many of the IDF vehicles in the earlier years had different tires on them. I always like mixing them up as it is visually pleasing. Not a lot of choices for the Humber kit though.
