Thanks, Steve!!!

Along those lines, I think the only modeler I know with enough time to finish all the kits in the stash is my nine year old son!!! And of course, he's not nearly as into the hobby as the Old Man! Glad I didn't have the lure of electonics --- but bear in mind, there was "electricity" --- when I was a kid... No thanks!! To each his own but at least, with my "old timer's" hobby, I have the occasional finished model to show for it...

Take care, Steve!

With Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.

Olivier Carneau wrote:Well, the question is do we really NEED more models. I for sure would love seeing some more novelties and as a modern armor fan I'm quite satisfied by the current trend followed by the major companies. But my wallet is desperately telling me I don't need anymore boxes in my stash :D

Oh, and to answer the initial question, let some modern French stuff hit the shelves !!!
Whilst I have huge sympathy for Olivier's sentiment.
I think he's already aware of this ........................... an example of "Need" soon translating into "have"
Hard to believe that this will be available in mainstream plastic

I would like to see some more Canadian subjects.

M113 TLAV.

Even a new tooled M113 would be nice, M114 (or Lynx in Canadian Service). It's great there is the C2 Mexas out there but the C1 Mexas would be nice.

For WWII subjects a Ram II (or Ram I for that matter), Lynx and Fox armoured cars (Lynx was the Canadian version of the Dingo, Fox was the Canadian version of the Humber MkI), I'll second Mark on the M5/M9 series 1/2 tracks as well.

Regards,

Rod

Still patiently waiting on a BA-11. Come on already.

Did I mention we need a BA-11. unlike the BA-10, which was built on the Gaz-AAA chassis, the BA-11 was built on the ZIS-6 chassis and was much more robust, it also has much more sloped armor than the BA-10 had. Most examples photographed are in camo paint. Alan/Ark has the ZIS-6 truck, all they need is the body.
