Philipp,
I guess horribly is in the eyes of the beholder. But considering it is a "new" kit and has an MSRP of $60, one would think it would not have some of the following issues.

Poor fit (caused by attempting to reuse molds).
molded on hatch handles
no detail on rear roadwheels
no detail on suspension units
poor fit of front fenders to tranny cover
no screen for grouser boxes
poor turret molding

I have included two links fro reviews...

Thanks Mark! Well, that's not exactly the high quality we've come to expect from Tamiya....Too bad Tasca never made large hatch M4A1 before their Sherman kit designer ran away.

TMD makes a cast hull for the Tasca kit ($20 plus shipping). But it doesn't come with hatches. Not sure If I am going to go that route or break out one of My Operation Cobra kits to do my M1 Sherman.

Excellent topic Philipp. :)

I'd like to see some of the military softskin stuff that never gets modelled. How about some trailers, petrol tankers and what about an Opel Blitz Bus! One of those aircraft recovery trailers that the British used would be nice too. I recall seeing pictures of them in the Western Desert with Hurricanes on them. :D

Cheers,
Vincent

Chris,
Have to agree! Aoshima did some nice 1/32 Bonnet buses but they are all right hand drive.

And on second thoughts - it would be nice all be it a little mundane for Dragon to update and re-release all of their Sd.Kfz.251 kits, ( which are now pretty hard to get hold of)

Where do I start...lol. All Russian of course.

A correct T-34/76 (Hex Turret) All of the ones on the market have big issues)

BA-11 (Hubba, Hubba). This is the one that is similar to a BA-10, but on the ZIS-5 chassis. Super cool and in camo.
SU-122 (The tamiya one is bad to the bone)
T-26 Model 1939....(Hobby Boss is getting close, we will see.)
T-43 (I've thought about scratching one.....but)
KV-13 (The missing link....)
T-44 (I bet Trumpeter will do one in the next couple of years - We have to have one)
T-72, Super Dolly Parton, for the obvious reasons....duh. (I believe that Trumpy announced one, but I can't confirm.)
GAZ-67. (Not the semi-post war versions from Tamiya and Trumpy...we need the one with rounded fenders)
KV-1S (The EEC and Trumpeter ones have lots of issues - Bronco, you just brought out a rockin KV-85, your close)

We need the Russian WWII 37mm and 25mm AA guns...Trumpy did the 85mm one.
