2021 Group Build
Are we going to do a GB in 2021 or take a break?
The only topic I can think of that would “excite” me would be “Repurposed Tanks” ie. tanks turned into ARVs, BARVs, Breacher vehicles, civilian vehicles etc.

Re: 2021 Group Build
As far as I'm concerned we can keep going as usual in 2021. I'll try to finally get that Facebook page set up so we might at last get a little more activity around here...
As far as topics are concerned, my suggestions would be:
- Prototypes
- Captured vehicles
- Post-apocalyptic (but let's not tempt 2021 to surpass this year... )
Repurposed tanks sounds great but I'd expand it to any obviously military vehicle (e.g. no staff cars identical to civilian models).

All of those topics sound good to me Philipp. Though actually doing or completing anything has been a bit of a struggle for me lately.

As usual we'll have a poll, starting in early December. Come on lads, can we get more topics?

From me;
“Tanks in Sheep’s Clothing” ie tank hulls converted to Engineering vehicles, combat support vehicles or even civilian mods.
“From my Place” ie a vehicle, not necessarily a tank, that your defense force/army/navy/Air Force/Marines use or used. Tons of choice for those from the US, a little more limited for those of us from smaller countries!
“Our of the Box” ie nothing more than what you get in the box, no aftermarket additions such as PE, tracks. Scratch building OK, replacement grab handles with wire etc.

Re: 2021 Group Build
A couple of tempting proposals so far.
My suggestions:
AA missiles launchers (wheeled, tracked or towed would fit the bill).
Refurbished: an "old" vehicle brought to modern standard through extra protection added or a life extension program (like a AMX30 Brennus, a T-55 AMV or a Challenger TES...)

If no more new suggestions come in I'll start the usual poll next Monday.

Sorry I can't help. For some reason I never finish any group builds that I start. Maybe I can change that next year.Philipp Gross wrote: ↑28 Nov 2020, 14:30 If no more new suggestions come in I'll start the usual poll next Monday.

Out of the box is a great idea. That can be anything.
