Does anyone know of the Russian 2K11 “Krug” SAM ever participated in a war zone? As of Xmas day I will have the Trumpeter kit of this, as well as the Meng 9K37M1 “Buk” kit (I’ve been shaking presents under the tree ). The Buk has obviously been used, War in Donbass/MH17 incident, and would be a valid subject, but the Krug is just so “Thunderbirds” looking!

Wikipedia says the Krug was deployed to Afghanistan in 1979/80, so it's both forgotten and in the desert
