Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
I have a chinese type 64 light tank in the stash, which will fit the Sino-Vietnam war.

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
Well done Michael.
Hummnn
Forgotten war will be Yemen, a nice base of Arabic style housing with an African crewed T34.
As for desert hummm,
definitely out of the stash and with a base too, so I do get to do my GB choice LOL
Good choices Adam, Mark
Still in hospital my right leg has a new knee
Hurts like hell and is misbehaving like a dumb brother!
It will not lift or bend!
I have a temperature too?
Back home for Christmas?
Raoul, Anna says we have the box
Hope everyone is ready for the big day?
Regards
Steve H

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
Ouch! Get well soon Steve!
I haven't yet decided what to build...possible options are a T-26 from the Spanish Civil War (is that forgotten enough?) and/or for the desert a Valentine Mk III or a DAK Panzer III J. Or possibly something else. We'll see

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
Glad you're out in time!
Yep, I remember your builds, very inspirational
I might also try my first Churchill....a Kingforce Mk III would be tempting.
Yet another option could be a certain Sherman III (notice a trend here? ) in Syria.....

Hey Steve, hope the new tin knee is bending like it should.
Modelling is a great recovery strategy for total knee replacement, believe me, I'm an orthopaedic surgeon.....
....actually quads strengthening and static cycling are, but modelling is good for the soul.

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
No really sure if the War Of Attrition is a forgotten conflict but during that time the IDF used Gama Goats that had a HUGE pair of binoculars mounted in the cargo box on Mount Hermon to oversee their territory. These were like mini telescopes. Would have to scratch those to even begin.

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
I was about to say that as a Middle East conflict it would also qualify as desert warfare. Then I saw the ski resort
