2019 Group Build Poll
No more suggestions, so here we go again! Would be nice to have a few votes, so tell your friends, family, pets and those bloody traitors who have left for Facebook to come and join
As usual you have two votes. You can also change your votes at a later point. Hopefully we'll end up with two clear winners at the end of December, we'll start on January 1st as usual.

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
Can I just ask for a bit of clarification on “Forgotten Conflicts”? Are we talking historic conflicts over shadowed by more significant ones like the Spanish Civil war, or low grade conflicts going on currently like Chad, or both?

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
Jan suggested it so it's up to him to make a proper definition, but as far as I'm concerned it's open to include any lesser known conflict both historically and more recently.
For example Vietnam would be excluded, but the French Indochina war or Sino-Vietnamese war would qualify. Same with WW2, where things like the Slovak uprising could be discussed. When in doubt, make a case for your project

My idea was basicly as Philipp explained.Philipp Gross wrote: ↑03 Dec 2018, 10:26 Jan suggested it so it's up to him to make a proper definition, but as far as I'm concerned it's open to include any lesser known conflict both historically and more recently.

Another example could be China/Japan conflict in WW2 or Finland/Russia winter war

Re: 2019 Group Build Poll
Errr... eeeerrr....
Honestly I'd say (and thought about in a way) everything that is not directly connected to the Second World War, so a WW2 vintage half track in a different role would be a "nono", but e.g. a German Type 181, while decidedly a direct descendent of the Kübelwagen would be fine.
Also: everything that comes with the tactical designator of "mechanized", so no tanks, neither heavy, light nor MBT, but e.g. a Stryker or even a Wiesel would do.
It just needs to have moved beyond WW2s tech-paradigm I'd say.
Best regards

I am working on the message Steve... I am also filling up the package, got some nice stuff already in it^^.
