Thanks Vincent

I have finally finished the detail painting. As much as the stowage added to the vehicle it also took a lot of time. I spent between 20-30 hours painting this. I wanted some variety in the stowage to add interest, so I used 4 different base colors along with different highlights and shadows. The pictures really do not show the shadows and highlights very well. The satin coat that I applied also really took some of those effects away as well.

Very nice Shawn

It does show all the effort with the different bases colours :D

Did you use oils on the vehicle?

The modulation/fade is cracking too ;)

You haven't lost your eye for detail, Shawn

Figures next?

Very nice work :D

Really appreciate the positive comments Philipp, Vincent, and Michael.

Steve- I have not applied any oils yet. I really want to be careful with the weathering on this one. I don't want to over do it and cover up the camo pattern. So, to be honest I am not sure what I am going to do at this point.

Of course there are going to be figures but I don't know what I am going to do for a base yet. Not sure if I want it sitting on the base I started in this blog or not.

Superb work Shawn. All of the hours spent painting the stowage has really paid off. :D
