Thanks again Philipp and Vincent.

Vallejo Dark Earth paste used for the ground. Then I dried brushed a lighter color to lighten things up alittle

Then on to the static grass.

I really have not worked on the house at all, but I have done alot of work on the Scout Car. Several additions were added using spare Dragon parts for the machine guns, antenna, head light guards. I added Jerry cans, stowage, and made the stowage for the front fenders using Greenstuff.

I normally build everything and glue it in place prior to paint, but in this case I felt it would Be a nightmare. So the windshield, Skate Ring, seats, antenna, machine guns, radio are not glued in place and I will paint the interior prior to permanently attaching everything.

That stowage certainly adds a lot of visual interest to the Scout Car Shawn. I love it! :D

Love the upgrading Shawn

The multi media multi colour always looks so cool,

Sometimes it is almost tempting to varnish and leave it, but once the scout gets its Olive drab,
she will be a feast of weathering ;)

Enjoy all the weathering potential, its always fun :D

Nice work

Thanks Guys.

Steve- You are absolutely right about having to paint over all the different medias.

Interior has been painted and slightly weathered. Skate ring has been permanently glued into place and a coat of primer has been applied. The kit did not come with any decals for the dash gauges so I just hand painted these in to add some interest.

I used my phone for these pics so they really don't look very good.

Since I was already painting I added a base coat to the Type 170 car. I am not even sure if I am going to use this in the end but why not work on it. :D

Shawn

They look fine Shawn, I only use my mobile now, it has a gazillion pixels and is much better than the point and shot camera I have, some where, collecting dust

Looking good with the modulated primer Shawn

Must feel good to have paint in the air again 8-)

Thanks again gentlemen.

Paint applied and I am really happy with how it came out. This is the first time using this type of camo pattern. :D :D

1)Olive Drab painted using ammo modulation set.
2)Then using Ammo masking putty I laid out the camo pattern.
3)Black painted and a small amount of German gray was mixed in for just alittle modulation.
4)I then took Olive Drab heavily thinned with thinner and from about 10" away I misted it over the entire model, just to slightly blend the colors.
