Thanks Vlad!
I'm going to add a few leaves once I've reached the edge if the base. I have a few nice looking but ludicrously expensive laser-cut paper leaves at hand for that.
The water is made by German company Noch. It's callled "Artificial Water". Dries perfectly clear, but while doing so it loses about half of its volume. One of the reasons this takes me so long...

Ah yes I'm familiar with Noch
thanks for that
Most resin based products shrink to some degree whilst curing so that doesn't surprise me too much.

How is this one going Philipp? Any progress?

Sorry about that! Didn't get much done recently, even though it basically amounts to pouring a new layer and waiting a few days until it's cured. Usually I have to do 2-3 layers until I notice any difference, so there's not much point in doing regular updates....
Here's what it looks like right now:
Yes, I did add a few fancy laser-cut oak leaves
I could paint the figure while I'm doing the two Panzer I blokes....

Thanks Rob!
However the water is by all means not excellent, I haven't managed to get a smooth surface around the edges and the turret. Well, there's still some space left until it overflows

You have to make a "hill" that leaves only veeeeeeery little border but doesn't connect - it still needs to retain it's own structural "bubble", flattens out eventually... worked for me...a bit...on really way smaller surfaces...

Thanks Gary!
Lack of progress mainly for the reason that the artificial water is very smelly and it's too cold to open the windows - might change soon, after all December usually is a misplaced summer month around here
