That interior is amazing. Where did the pots and pans and things on the shelves come from???? They look amazing. The little details you put on your builds just take it to a whole other level.

I have children. My living room usually looks something like this:Philipp Gross wrote:I really thought that was your own living room for a few seconds

Small update before going to the IPMS Nationals in the morning.
Divan sofa from laminated styrene sheets. This will need some epoxy putty sculpting to enhance the surface. But It will be cast into a resin product for Cold Basement Models.
Gaps seal at the fume hood/wall interface
Firewood rack from brass.
Overall views:
And given all the effort thus far expended on the interior, I might have to reconsider putting in some LED lighting.......

It's easier than that camoflage you painted on the 1/48 Rover.Rob Matthews wrote: I don't dare ask how

LEDs!!!!!!
4 lights in total, 3 in the ceiling, 1 above the stairs.
6 cell 3 amp/hour battery should power all four LEDs for about 30 hours. (I plan to add a pushbutton to the outside trim. This will allow the viewer to turn the lights on or off.)
This wont be in the model; but some may remember this combination from the Knights Of Olde diorama. It never occurred to me to light up the chandelier. Perhaps this setup will find its way into a future scene????

Just fabulous John. You really need to put together a SBS on how you do the lighting. I for one would have no idea how to do something like this.
So please please do.
Did I say please.

That's possible. There's not much to show though. If you know what to order from the interwebs, most of the hard work will have been done by a little Chinese lady earning $3 per day. The hardest part is finding a good battery charger for large capacity cells.Shawn Ramsey wrote:Just fabulous John. You really need to put together a SBS on how you do the lighting. So the roof is on!
Final check before sealing it all in.
Fake concrete for sealing of around the chimney and cap tiles.
Overview with first couple of figures.
EDIT:
Forgot to blog these. I scratched and cast both a leather armchair and a divan style sofa.
