The Little French House
I've posted this building on MA and am transferring the thread to the new site.
Another diorama with various elevations and use of terrain to affect the story.
The Bren Gun Carrier shown here is the one I built during the coldest days of last winter. (-50c with windchill) I've decide that after seeing the beautiful work done by Rob on the Riich kit, that using the old Tamiya was no longer an option. The blog on the Riich model should begin just about the coldest days of 2015.

Da!
It's the Cabriolet convertible. I think I might use blue and silver for the paint colors.

Looks already like a narrative in the making!
Looking forward so seeing this narrative crystallize itself over the build!
Best regards

Re: The Little French House
Started work on the roof tiles. I'm designing a new, faster, square-cut roof tile for inclusion in the Cold Basement Models line. The tiles I've used before are beautiful to behold. But producing 2,000 or 3,000 copies of these tiles would be cost prohibitive for a customer wanting to build their own tile roof.
These are simpler and far less time-intensive to produce en masse. Although they don't look as nice.
Roof panels are cut from MDF with a layer of poster board on the outside. Each panel is covered with graph paper to ensure tile remain well aligned. The panels are not yet glued to the roof to allow easier application of tiles.

The roof looks great to me John. Unless I can't find it. What are the tiles made from?

Clay- I thought you said a faster way to make tiles above.
On a different note, do you not have your store up and running on your cold basement site yet. I could not find anything for sale yet?
