Trommelfeuer, 1/35

Post by Yngve Sjodin »

Well, there were more rainy days so I ve made another small trench dio. Also a one-figure scene of a trenchline somewhere on the eastern front. A soldier is taking cover in his dugout from an incoming artillery attack. He is nervously clenching his Panzerfaust waiting for the T34s and russian infantry to storm the positions when the artillery barrage stops :)

Today it is sunny like yesterday, so I will move away from the workbench and go into the forest to see if I find more remnants from the war,,Yesterday I found a Puma close combat knife and some 20 german "dog tags" Follow the link below to have a look at my report from the trip:)

Hey Ygnve, interesting cross section and another story developing 8-)

What are the bits in the first photo? Is it artillery shell shrapnel?

I like how his legs extend beyond the edge of the diorama. It brings the scene into the viewers world.
